  • Good Job Robin!! No, you would never tell someone they are fat. Always good to hear your positive approach to health care. Thank you for the reminder that it is o.k. to love and be kind to ourselves. Really a missing link, not taught my generation. Hugs Keri

  • Robin Mallery:

Accepting ourselves, forgiving ourselves, and holding ourselves in compassion are all about self-love. This is not narcissism, but about softening our internal world just a bit, to let go of the harsh self-judgments we hold. This then liberates us to extend those same feelings of acceptance, forgiveness, and compassion to others–friends, family, and strangers–which then flows back into our own life; we end up creating and spreading joy within the world we live, and into the world at large. Thinking of this concept brings me a sense of gratitude for my ability to revel in love of self and others. It’s powerful and meaningful, yet you are correct in stating that it remains an unfamiliar and elusive awareness. We can shift that though, by inviting it into our own daily practice, modeling it for our children and family, and sharing it with others.

And it was humorous to hear Tom say on air F-A-T…and shocking; not my choice of words! Thank you for listening to the interview.

"Robin Mallery has been working with me for over a year now. During this time, she has introduced me to many different thought and choice options--most importantly she has helped me understand that I am the most important choice. Her passion for living right and feeling even better brings a human support to a process that could easily have been uncomfortable and unsuccessful. She is tireless in her unending support. Her talent for listening heightens a nurturing coaching relationship. I recommend Robin for those that have chosen to change; she will help support that decision, and you will be pleased that you chose to change and that you chose Robin as your coach."
